Annual Fall Conference

21st Annual Fall Conference; "Brain Dysfunction and Behavioral Challenges" October 21, 2011

Annual Fall Conference

Whether resulting from Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, Alzheimer’s Disease, Traumatic Brain Injury, or other diseases and injury, brain dysfunction can result in uniquely challenging behaviors that are difficult to change.. Understanding how damage to different areas of the brain impacts behavior in children and adults is of primary importance in planning supports and interventions,
This conference will describe the links between a variety of excessive behaviors and brain dysfunction, including creative treatment strategies that help people cope with these challenges.

Since 1991, MORA has hosted an annual regional conference bringing together professionals and caregivers interested in learning the current best practices in developmental disability services. This exceptional event includes nationally known and regional experts discussing the challenges in our work and providing working solutions that will advance participants' skills.

The conference is held in the spacious and comfortable training facilities of Mount Olivet Lutheran Church, West Campus, in Victoria, Minnesota.

Our goal is to provide a quality training experience, with direct access to leading experts in the field, at an affordable price.
