The following classes are offered at Mount Olivet Rolling Acres or can be conducted at your facility.
Classes are offered at various times throughout the year and meet the requirements of current licensing standards. All classes are conducted by an experienced nurse or behavior analyst.

Creating Professional Skill Development Programs and Behavior Support Plans An intensive, competency based 20-hour class that spans 5 weeks. Held at our offices in Chanhassen, participants must be able to attend all 5 classes from 10:00am to 2:00pm. The cost for all 5 classes is $150.

Many people with ID/DD, including autism, have challenging behavior related to anxiety or obsessive compulsive disorders (OCD). These individuals may not benefit from typical therapy, but can be helped by the functional behavior supports defined in this presentation. The fee for this class is $20.

Care providers coming to homes may feel like they have limited influence as they adapt to the complex environments and family dynamics in these settings where they are the "outsiders". This presentation provides important skills for success in defining roles, prioritizing key behavior interventions, coping with cultural differences, resolving family value issues, and other unique challenges. The 2 hour class fee is $25.

In this class, you will learn to identify the specific causes of stress, develop methods to manage stress in difficult situations, and find more joy in the work place. Learn to spend your work day alert and relaxed, instead of feeling frazzled and out of control.

This 3.5 hour course is designed to meet the Minnesota requirements for medical equipment training in foster care settings and other medical risk management standards. Protocol forms for each procedure will be provided to each participant that can be adapted to individual clients.
